Firstly, I wish to acknowledge the support and encouragement of Rosemary Oh, as without her, I would not be a porcelain painting teacher today.

In the late 1999, prior to leaving Hong Kong for an assignment in Australia, Rosemary asked me to continue with her objective of increasing the awareness of porcelain painting a task that I readily accepted.

Despite being slightly anxious, I commenced teaching in March 2000 with classes held at home and in an effort to continue to increase the awareness of this art form, I participated in an exhibition in May, 2000. This exposure and my developing reputation resulted in an increasing number of students wishing to join my classes.

In August 2002 ,  a big thank you and a warm hug was dedicated to my loving husband, Johnny , and to my son Long Hey. With their great support,  I was able to open a porcelain painting workshop in Shaukeiwan.  In the workshop, I  have displayed all my artworks . I have shelves full of  different kinds of blank china imported from Japan, Taiwan, China, C. Republic, Thailand, USA and Germany. I have also stock up more accessories, such as over three hundred different colors of china paint powder, different mediums, gold, platinum, lustres, brushes etc., for my students to choose from. My workshop has been designed to be very functional and can accommodate approximately 12-16 students at any one time. Apart from providing teaching facilities, the workshop is also a place where my students can relax, have a cup of tea or coffee, while browsing the  vary collection of  porcelain painting books  and studies in the comfortable sitting room.

In order to provide our students with more learning opportunities, we also invite different artists from all over the world to Hong Kong and organize different seminars for them from time to time.

Now, I have four classes per week currently.  Tuesday,  Thursday and Saturday.  These classes will start from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. There is also a Tuesday evening class available which will start from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Those who are interested in learning porcelain painting but cannot fit into my schedule as mentioned above ,   are welcome to  make up a class of their own  with a minimum of 6 people.

In my pursuit of excellence, I try to keep class number to maximum of twelve students to ensure each of them receives a sufficient level of attention.

My objective is not only to teach people, but also to share the beauty of this form of art and develop long-lasting friendship with my students.
